Foosball

I've long wanted to design a set of games room products. It must be a crush shared by many designers. In early 2016, the opportunity presented itself. One thing has always nagged me about Foosball tables - tables available at an accessible price point are awful to look at. Those that are mildly attractive are too costly. I set about designing a beautiful table that could be made affordably via highly accessible tools.

By designing a Foosball table that can be made (almost) entirely on a CNC machine, it was possible to share the manufacturing assets via the web, enabling anyone with access to a well-equipped maker space to produce the table themselves at a very reasonable price. The result is a design-conscious Foosball table, perfect for domestic or light commercial use that can be distributed as a digital file, and made in maker spaces anywhere in the world.
