CSM Student Project

In 2016 I managed an educational project with Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design for 2nd-year students enrolled on the Universities award-winning BA Product Design course.

I managed the scoping of the project brief with tutors and produced supporting educational resources for students. Later these resources formed the foundation of all Opendesk’s work with educational institutions.

The project brief focused on designing products which promoted the ideas of Open Design, whilst adhering to the constraints of Distributed Manufacturing. During the 6-week project, I visited the university on two occasions to provide feedback and mentoring to approximately 30 participating students with a diverse range of creative outcomes.
