AutoPass
AutoPass is an Extension (similar in concept to iPhone Apps) for Shaper Origin. AutoPass brings a more automated cutting to Origin while maintaining the same easy-to-use, ‘no programming required’ user experience.

AutoPass can automatically configure Origin’s cut depth and automatically ramp into each pass, saving time and preventing mistakes.
I designed the user experience and user interface for AutoPass including how the Extension is activated, how users prepare for a cut, and how users are guided through a cutting operation.
AutoPass is available to Origin owners for a one-time fee of $200. For those unsure whether AutoPass is right for them, a 14 day free trial is available. The free trial was a challenging UX problem, with multiple entry points and many different user states to consider.
I worked as part of a small team to deliver AutoPass to market. The team included a product manager, two software engineers, and a product designer who developed early concepts for the feature. My role was primarily UI/UX design for the end-to-end experience from activating the Extension for the first time to cutting on Origin.
